September 18, 20187 yr Commercial Member I've been trying to track down a 8-10 FPS hit I'm seeing on the two Flysimware products I own, the 402 and LJ35. Between the two of them, I get perfectly smooth 50-60 FPS+ in nearly every situation except when I turn on the stock GNS 530 in the VC. Doing so, I notice an immediate 8-10 FPS drop. Does anyone else see the same? Or is there a way to use just analog NAV1/COM1 & NAV2/COM2 radios without the GPS (I'm fine flying just needles, no need for moving map for me)? Thanks.
