Use MCE only to interact with Radar Contact

I'm wondering if it's possible to just use the voice component to talk to Radar Contact.  I find that sometimes I don't want t co-pilot but I always need to "talk" to ATC.

 

Is it possible to enable the ATC voice control of Radar Contact and have the co-pilot do nothing?

Yes, you can.

Disable all features in "General" tab, MCE user interface, except "Talk to ATC controllers".
