All good info Chock except the No. 9 TFL bus doesn't go anywhere near Clapham. Starts in Aldwych and heads along the river to Hammersmith. Clapham? - let me see - that would be a 39 or 319 or an N19 at night. Just sayin' lol

Just sayin' lol Actually the only bus I ever get in London is the one that goes down the Strand to Euston Station and I don't even know what number that one is lol, just that it goes that way. Normally it's an Oyster Card and the Tube for me, Northern Line from up Camden way cos I try to stay in pubs in Camden if I can since its rough as hell and therefore cheap lol. Then it is easy to go across to Euston on the Northern line train to High Barnet cos it goes through Soho and you can get off at Charing Cross where I sometimes work, or if not there then it's across to Waterloo and up near where the London Eye is. Sometimes work there as well. So yeah, I know the Tube better than the buses and the cabs are too pricey for me. 'Sarf of the river at this time mate? You're avin' a larf!' 'avin a giraffe in a bubble bath me old son. Lived in the Smoke for ten years but now down in green Hampshire and life is better but I do look back on my London days with great affection. I lived there when I was at Uni (NLP) doing Mech Eng. I love Manchester too - my people are from there - and Southport (don't call me posh) and I visit regularly. Funny 'ow it all turns 'at - know what I mean? Blue skies.
