October 5, 20187 yr Hello everyone! Does somebody know how to replace the default GNS500 gauge by the Weather radar "roland's gauge"? It's because I love to fly by radionavigation and I don't really need the default gps... If I want to practice ifr gps procedures, I just use the reality xp GNS... Instead the roland gauge would be useful when I'm flying through bad weather... Thank you!! Best regards!
October 6, 20187 yr The GNS500 template in the Duke is coded in the model. You can remove it from the panel.cfg, but the "Face" and buttons of the GNS will be visible all the time, and you only have a small window in which to put your weather radar gauge, it will be quite small, and even smaller if you include the bezel of your gauge. Even if you edit the DDS panel files the "transparent" window (where you can place your gauge) will remain the same size as it is hard codded in the mdl file. Best solution is to add a popup window for your gauge. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
