import scripts?

Recommended Posts

Just installed this software  again after some time off,,,got the latest version. When I go to the import scripts folder and select co pilot and select a script but the folder is empty does this mean I need to download that script from somewhere? I was sure I had scripts for certain aircraft before where as now none are there.

Be sure to check out my aged cockpits for the A2A B-377, B-17 and Connie at Flightsim.com and Avsim library

Which aircraft are we talking about here? Which one did you have loaded at the time when running MCE? And did you have the option "show scripts for currently selected aircraft" ticked? in Voxscript interface?

Under Documents/Multi Crew Experience/MyVoiceScripts/Copilot/Aircraft I see XP_Gates_Learjet_25_v2r1 listed but it does not show in the checklist in MCE in sim.

Not sure I understand.

That "XP_Gates_Learjet_25_v2r1" empty folder refers to some aircraft of yours that would be installed to \Flight_sim_root_folder\SimObjects\Airplanes\ folder.

It's only once you create flows for it that the folder gets populated.

MCE knows nothing about that aircraft. By default, if it's a jet aircraft, it would assign it "Generic_Jet_Check.txt" as the checklist. If it's Turboprop, it would be "Generic_Turboproip_Check.txt".

Default checklists are under C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Crew Experience\Checklists\ folder.

Should you need to assign a custom checklist for that specific aircraft, find a suitable one in above folder, copy it to \My Documents\ folder, renaming to anything you want (must keep "_Check.txt" extension. Then customize it to your liking.
