October 13, 20187 yr I have a GNS licence for XP10 and a GTN licence for XP11. I'd like to migrate the GNS onto XP11, but don't want to compromise the GTN. What should I do?
October 13, 20187 yr Hi Timothy, Both GNS V2 and GTN are compatible with XP11, XP10 and XP9. You just have to run the GNS V2 installer and select any or all of these simulators to install for these respectively. Otherwise, if already installer for XP10 and XP11 is the same computer, you just need to manually copy the rxpGNS plugin folder from XP10 to XP11.

Should you have installed the GNS V2 on XP10, there should have been a "rxpGNS" folder there, with a "32" and "64" subfolders. Unfortunately, the legacy gns product is not designed nor working with XP11. Edited October 16, 20187 yr by RXP
October 17, 20187 yr Yes, these are different products entirely. Looking at your e-commerce receipts will tell you if this is the GNS V2 or not: GNS V2 product name is: RealityXP Garmin GNS 530 (XPlane) (product id: RXP-GNS530-XP) legacy is: Reality XP Garmin GNS 530 WAAS X-Plane 9 (product id: RXP-GNS530-X9) Just make sure you do not mix and match the two: you might have purchase both the legacy a long time ago, and the GNS V2 more recently, and you've just not installed the GNS V2 in XP10 but the legacy instead? I wouldn't want you to purchase the product twice. Edited October 17, 20187 yr by RXP
October 17, 20187 yr Author Hmmm, well I tried to buy the GNS and seem to have been delivered the wrong product. See thread on GNS forum.
