October 30, 20187 yr Hi Alex Whenever I scroll and zoom the map to the size I like, after a number of seconds it goes back to the default zoom size which I find is way too zoomed out. Is there anyway of changing the default zoom size? I know I can click to keep the aircraft and next waypoint in view, but sometimes I fly without a flight plan. Thanks John Edited October 30, 20187 yr by johnbla
October 30, 20187 yr Hi John, sounds like a bug. The program should not zoom around if there is no plan. It should fall back to centering the aircraft. Are you sure that there is no far away flight plan loaded? It is probably fixed in the current beta since I changed a lot in this area. I'll check this. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 31, 20187 yr Author Hi Alex I am using the latest beta. I tried to attach a couple of screenies but the forum won't allow it. I suspect that it is a setting somewhere in LNM. Regards John
October 31, 20187 yr Hi John, you have to upload the images to another service like imgur and then link to them from the forum here There is a huge thread about this here: Now back to the jumping map position. First: Have a look at the settings in the options dialog on tab "Simulator Aircraft". The tooltips try to give help. Or, if the program zooms out to far: Zoom in to a distance you like to see when flying and the toggle "Map" -> "Center Aircraft" on and off (Ctrl+Alt+A). This will reset the faulty mechanism and it should jump back to this zoom factor. I'll certainly have a look at this before the next beta. Cheers, Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
November 1, 20187 yr Author Hi Alex I have rebooted and it seems to have fixed the problem. If it comes back, I will let you know. John
November 1, 20187 yr No need to reboot. Just toggle the "Center aircraft" button. I see this problem here too. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
