November 3, 20187 yr Today, I installed AS A318 and A319 fresh from my years-old archive, and therewith, I've now iFly-737/PMDG-737/AS-CRJ/AS-A318/A319 (will look for A320/A321 later)...all these aircraft fully tested and perfectly operational for me...so, these should keep me busy with my short-to-mid range flights for a while...of course, that TFDi-717 will be also nice to have in this set...🙂...Oh, well, maybe one day! For these two AS aircraft here, there was no issue w/ installation or anything else - everything went smoothly. Flying them after nearly 5 years - I did enjoy these two a lot, especially the stocky A318! Please note that the shortened A318 was introduced many years after A320 (first delivery of A320 in 1987 vs. that for A318 in 2003). Below are the few snapshots of a test-flight for the A318 taking off from (AS PW) SEQU/Old-Quito Airport - starting from cold & dark cockpit. The SEQU/Old-Quito, in RL, is now a de-commissioned/in-operative airport. It's actually now a Public Park named Bicentennial Park - used for biking, picnicking, and other such activities (if you wish, please refer to one of my earlier posts on this Airport add-on). Taking off from SEQU was exciting - being in so close proximity to the residential roof-tops and nearby enormous volcanic mountains! This airport was closed down in 2013 due to several such safety concerns plus its extreme elevation. For this test-flight, I've chosen the livery of VIASA Airline, that was the Venezuelan flag carrier for nearly 40 years, before it ceased operations in 1997. Thanks for viewing these images of the Baby Bus.
