November 6, 20187 yr Hello, I cannot get MCE to connect to X-Plane 11.30 (beta 1 or 2) either starting it first or via the plugin menu. I have uninstalled an reinstalled a couple of times using Control Panel to remove MCE first. I have tried 1.3.7.4. and 1.3.7.5. I have recently install some Microsoft C++ redistributables and I'm wondering if they are a conflicting version to those MCE requires? However, I can't find any references online or in the documentation and there is no reference to required software when I re-install. Any suggestions would be welcome. Is anybody else having this problem? Regards, Craig

Is anybody else having this problem? Regards, Craig Hi Craig. Yes, X-Plane 11.30 Beta broke connection with V1.3.7.4 But V1.3.7.5 was made available today for that purpose. To fix the issue with connection. See this thread: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/148603-voice-based-crew-simulation-for-ff-a320/ Assuming you downloaded and installed today, just make sure "X-Plane.exe" is set to run as administrator. When Windows UAC is enabled (It is by default, and we don't recommend disabling it), simply install to default C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Crew X-Plane\ folder. That way, you can guarantee good communication between "xpmce.exe" and "X-Plane.exe" If still no luck, make sure the installer has updated required files in \X-Plane\Resources\Plugins\ folder Check "xpInsider64.xpl" version and last modified day and time. All our dlls and exe are statically linked to the runtime. They are self sufficient (have parts of the required runtime dlls injected at build time) and don't rely on specific C++ runtime library being there on a user's machine. It also means we can't break other add-ons installations. That's why we don't need to install those runtimes, even though MCE is coded in C++ Edited November 6, 20187 yr by FS++ Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
November 6, 20187 yr Author Thank you for the support. The xpInsider64.xpl file was not updated and once I copied it from the zip file, MCE worked again.
