AI traffic and schedule locator

Featured Replies

After having carefully and repeatedly searched through the forum and the file library I have to ask for assistance on this subject.I am away from my domicile and cannot recall which add-on I used which shows from within FS the rather detailed information about the AI traffic in the neighborhood - aircraft letters, type, flightplan from-to, altitude, latitude, ETE, etc.My poor memory seems to recall it as probably being a component of another add-on program.Could someone help, please. Thanks a lot.Clarindo

You may be thinking of the Traffic Toolbox add-on from Microsoft. It will show all traffic in your area that is active and allow you to follow any plane. You can get it at http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...wnloads_sdk.aspJust look for the TrafficToolbox SDK download.Install it to any temp folder and then copy and paste the dll file to your modules folder. It will then show as a Tools option on the menu bar at the top of the screen when in woindowed mode. Hope this helps - it is a great little tool.

Thanks a million, David - that was exactly what I had been looking for.Renewed thanks also to Reggie who indicated FSUIP's Traffic Look utility (am still looking for it), Traffic View Board (very good) and this wished for Traffic ToolBox SDK which you also indicated. Also thanks for the installation instructions which, although simple, did help me out in locating it under Tools in FS9...All the best - and once again this FS forum has proven its outstanding utility and the willingness of so many to help out poor ignorant simmers like me.
