Hello, I *think* I have everything properly set up, yet I cannot get past having the dreaded black screen. I can launch the GTN 750 trainer, click through the menus, etc. I can launch X-Plane 11 and make selections in the Reality XP GTN Plugin. Log files are being written.

Simple Questions -
Does the Trainer need to be running prior to launching X-Plane or does the plugin launch the trainer when requested?
Where is the Trainer supposed to be installed?

Windows 7 Professonal 64bit
i7-2600 3.4GHz
16GB RAM
GTX 1080 8GB RAM

X-Plane 11.26 running on a SSD designated as Drive O: (O:\X-Plane\X-Plane 11)

Planes I've tried - Default 172, Carenado's F33A & A36, Just Flight's PA28 Turbo Arrow

I wonder if I installed the trainer or the plugin in non-standard locations?

Hi,

this looks like a mess but it is simple in the end:

1) Install the trainer to its default location, or to any other place you want. Our plugin detects this automatically and if not, you can manually 'override' the search paths as documented in the User's Manual

2) NEVER install the trainer in the X-Plane folder. There is no need for this and this makes it cumbersome should you want to move your X-Plane folder to another drive/folder.

3) The plugin automatically detects and run the trainer.

4) You are using an old RXP GTN version (2.5.4) not compatible with the Trainer 6.50.1 you've installed. You just need to download the latest RXP GTN e-commerce installer(s) and proceed with 'REINSTALL' option with purchase key/pw.

NB: please wait before doing this, we're about to release a new update in a couple hours.
