'Bug up' Issue

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is there any way to turn off the 'bug up' command. I am finding that the co-pilot seems to pick this command up a lot when I'm not saying anything.

Thanks

It's not a regular occurrence, unless out of frustration, you occasionally say "Bugger" :smile:

Can't disable it because others will argue it's a helpful feature and they have been using it for ages..

This could also be a sign that your microphone needs calibration or that the speech profile you trained earlier is no longer fit for purpose because you may have swapped headset or moved your PC to a different location with different ambient noise conditions.

If that's the case, go to Windows Control Panel, speech recognition applet and create a new speech profile.

Once it's listed, calibrate your microphone, then train the new speech profile from scratch using our supplied training tool.

Start->All Apps->Multi Crew Experience->Speech training.

Thanks for that. The problem is if I have my window open while playing P3D, my microphone picks up the wind, causing MCE to take that noise as 'bug up'. This also happens when I raise my microphone to mute it.

Not sure if there are some filtering controls I can look at.
