dll.xml with exorbitant size

I just realized that on my new 4.4 set-up I have a dll.xml with 11.8 MB. Holy cow ... It must have happened during my PMDG installs, because it was created at that time when I installed my PMDG a/c. The first line contains those code hieroglyphic symbols the rest are the typical PMDG entries ... 11.8 MB Wow!

I think I know how to repair, so no help is needed. But I wanted to let you know this. I'm surprised that I did not have any problems to fly the PMDG birds. It was Lorbys excellent Addon Organizer which gave the hint that something is broken.
