Dear Microsoft,To limit the amount of aircraft bunching at larger airports, can you set AI aircraft to only appear at the airports within 5 minutes of their scheduled departure times? I believe currently the limit is 15 minutes. Is this possible?Bill

I'm a little confused.You want no AI aircraft parking at airport gates until 5 minutes before their departure - even if there are plenty of parking spots?Additional parking is the key to having smooth FPS and operation with AI aircraft.

Well, I believe one way that airports deal with 'backlogs' is by issuing holding patterns when the number of aircraft is just too great for the ATC to handle, and, although it causes sometimes very long delays for the aircraft in the holds, it is a good temporary solution.

Well, actually real airports simply put a cap on the number of scheduled arrivals and departures they allow. FS doesn't ;)

We changed it to 8 minutes from 15 this time around. And to clarify what he means is initializing aircraft that should have departed 15 minutes ago at the gate instead of in the air.
