Wonderful! That fixed the issue :)! Now, I just have an issue when, from time to time, it refuses to connect to the Microsoft Flight server (see below screenshot). Any ideas on that?

I've been having some issues with Flight recently. I've downloaded Hawaii, the Maule, and the RV-6A, but am having issues with the Maule especially. Every time that I want to use it, it insists that I "redownload" it (and it seems to download either nothing or a very small file).In addition, if I want to fly a mission with it, if I click the "Fly Again" option, it does not restart the mission from the beginning, and instead continues the mission from the last position was. For example, if I was doing a landing mission, it would take me to the spot that I landed at, and the only way that I can restart the mission is to go back to the main menu.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions?Thank you!

I'm having trouble connecting to Gamespy from FSX as well.

Check your graphics settings. I had the same problem until I turned up the graphics.

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with aircraft textures. I have FSX Deluxe, and the Aircraft settings in the Display settings are at Ultra High. I have a RADEON 9800PRO and 1gb ram with a P4 2.8 ghz. Is it a hardware or a software issue? I just updated my video drivers yesterday. Are other people experiencing this?Here is a screenshot:Also, textures for other things take a while to load (Do I not have enough RAM?) and display like this until they are loaded:Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My computer isn't good enough for me to see buildings ;).Well, I've been thinking about upgrading my graphics card (I'm not saying that that's the only thing that I need to upgrade, but I'm thinking that that is really what's holding my computer back the most) for a while now, but the problem right now is that I don't have a PCI Express slot, and buying a new computer is out of the question. Is buying a new motherboard and then buying a mid-range PCI-E graphics card a huge hassle and mega $$$?

Hi everyone,I was able to get FSX Deluxe from a local Best Buy this afternoon. I was able to install and activate it without any errors or hiccups, but in the sim, some strange things are happening. I can't see any buildings in airports. I can see autogen buildings fine, and I can see buildings in the cities, but I don't see any gates/parking areas, or anything like that (but the lines are still there). Here is one of the screenshots that I took: My video card is an ATI Radeon 9800PRO, and I have just updated the drivers tonight. I've got 1 gb of RAM, and a 2.8 ghz P4. I've been with the FS series since FS2000, never had any errors like this, but I'm going to make FSX work, as I see some great potential. It may be an issue with my computer (FS9 is fine, runs just dandy), or it could be something with FSX. If any of you could aid me in this matter, I'd greatly appreciate it.Happy flying,Chris LaFreniere

Well, I believe one way that airports deal with 'backlogs' is by issuing holding patterns when the number of aircraft is just too great for the ATC to handle, and, although it causes sometimes very long delays for the aircraft in the holds, it is a good temporary solution.

Hello, if this topic has already been talked about, please direct me to the previous post, but here's my question.Because of the abundance of payware addons for FS, has the MSFT Flight Simulator Team had to take extra care of what to include in new versions of FS so that companies that sell payware can continue to sell their products? I'm just curious of this, as some companies sell addons for FS, that, for instance, have a much better camera system than the default FS camera. Is there going to be a new-and-improved camera system, or will it remain just as it was in FS9?

My problem was solved thanks to those new server lists... I had to try one of the other servers, since one of them didn't work, but now it works! Thanks!

Hi, guys. After trying to connect to VATSIM numerous times and failing every single time, I came here for help. I follow what is the text-book example of how to get on VATSIM, with SBRELAY, Squawkbox, etc. and everything goes perfectly, I see the window that says 'Click here to get into the action' and I click that and that works, but when I get into SB Host, that's the problem. I put on Squawk standby and everything, and send the flightplan, but when I click the button that says ok to the box that has your VATSIM ID and password, and other things like what server to connect to, etc. It always says that there's an error, that either the VATSIM ID or password is incorrect. I've double, triple, quadruple checked my password, had it sent a few times by VATSIM, and it still doesn't work with SB Host. But, I can login to VATSIM with that ID and password. What's wrong?
