Screenshots of FSX -- directX9 or 10?

Featured Replies

Hi, not sure if this has been discussed too much, and if it is, please direct me to the appropriate page. The screenshots, like those on http://www.gamespot.com/pc/sim/microsoftfl...creenindex.htmlare they taken on a computer with directx9 or 10? They look quite good, so just curious if that's today's directx or the directx of tomorrow.

And in case you missed this thread, an experimental DX10 shot is shown here...http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...g_id=7204&page=(DX9 vs. DX10 Software Renderer)There is some discussion as to the validity of the screenshot, but TDragger (MS ACES) has confirmed that those are the images used to illustrate the difference between DX9 and DX10 to the press at E3.-Greg
