August 24, 200619 yr Not sure if this has been mentioned before. If these have, I am sorry, but just trying to do my part to get a better final product on the shelves. First, I noticed something strange with the fences, that they weren't really see-thru:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/154697.jpgSecondly (just a minor thing), the lights on this Bombardier seem to be placed a bit wrong:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/154698.jpgThank you.Chris (Chise) LaFreniereCEO Unity Virtual Aviation Communitywww.flyunity.net
August 24, 200619 yr Both of these are known issues, Chris. I believe that the fences have been confirmed as fixed in a later build, and I hadn't heard a confirmation on the lights...there have been fixes to the strobes, but I'm not sure if that included this issue.-Ivan
August 24, 200619 yr I think they said that the strobes/lights problem was due to FS have a round globe, quite how that works I don't know! :-lol Alaister Kay
August 24, 200619 yr I found another bug, it was left over from fs9. When you crash near the airport you still get "XXX please contact ground on YYY" etc. Not exactly as real as it gets.
August 24, 200619 yr How do you know..thats not the last thing a pilot hears if he crashes?:)Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
August 24, 200619 yr Well, the controllers just don't want you to make an uncleared action...they wanted you to know that they approved of you contacting the ground. :D Better than them telling you to taxi to maintenence. :(
August 24, 200619 yr When an aircraft is cleared for landing - there are only two "normal" next steps - landing on a runway and a missed approach/ go around.Should you fail either of those and contact the terrain not on the runway - the system assumes you have landed off the runway. Not realistic. Should say "Crash on the field" and send the fire trucks - maybe we can do that with FSX and the new ground AI.
August 24, 200619 yr >I found another bug, it was left over from fs9. When you>crash near the airport you still get "XXX please contact>ground on YYY" etc. Not exactly as real as it gets. Wouldn't you just reply that you already contacted ground? :(
August 25, 200619 yr >...Should say "Crash on the field" and send the>fire trucks - maybe we can do that with FSX and the new ground>AI.Ooo, now we're talking. That's what a crash be like in the sim.
