Aircraft Textures

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with aircraft textures. I have FSX Deluxe, and the Aircraft settings in the Display settings are at Ultra High. I have a RADEON 9800PRO and 1gb ram with a P4 2.8 ghz. Is it a hardware or a software issue? I just updated my video drivers yesterday. Are other people experiencing this? Here is a screenshot:1160323895.jpgAlso, textures for other things take a while to load (Do I not have enough RAM?) and display like this until they are loaded:1160324352.jpgAny help would be greatly appreciated!

Running FSX, my RAM usage tops 1,3GigYour 9800pro was almost OK for FS9, but I replaced mine a long time ago to use FS9 effectivelyYou have no textures loaded because you have nowheres to load themallen

I had a 9800pro that ran FS9 beautifully for quite a while! :) First you need to resize your pics to 1024 res. and repost this. Check your global texture size setting. It looks like it is not on the highest setting. This is the kind of stuff Im talking about in my other posts concerning performance. I'm also sorry to say your system is likley inadequate to run this at anything even closely resembling what you see with FS9. Try turning the AI off and autogen off and see what you get.Hornit

By going to Options/Settings/Display then Scenery, increase the settings, this should reset it back again. Re-load scenery in Controls does not do this type of texture but is good for Land texture resetting
