December 19, 20187 yr Hello when I recently had to reinstall my PMDG 737 NGX because my ops center program was deleted, it overwrote all of my settings for the aircraft that are custom chosen in the FMC. it took a lot of time to recreate those, as well as remember how I had set it up months ago Does anyone know where the file that contains these settings is located and its name so I can back it up and avoid this issue in the future? Thanks, Greg Clark Greg Clark
December 19, 20187 yr Hi Greg, They're .ini files contained in the main installation location: [Main Simulator Install Directory - Prepar3D vX or FSX]\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\Aircraft You should find a list of .ini files with file names that match the aircraft registrations of those installed. I've not had a situation like yours before, but sometimes when things have updated, the OC has asked if I wanted to repair the installed liveries. In this case it appears to have created it's own backups. Have a look in the above folder - you may be lucky!
