December 24, 20187 yr So after my latest hardware build and loading everything up, I noticed after popping back and forth between XP11 and P3D, I noticed I have no cockpit shadows....Everything is very blah and flat looking for some reason. I do have shadows checked off but I could swear there were cockpit shadowing in P3D with the FSL bus prior to my reformat. Am I nuts or is something hosed up in my install? When I get home later I can upload a screenshot. I haven't tried any other AC as of yet. December 24, 20187 yr Make sure that in the 'Lighting' section you have both the cast and receive boxes checked for Internal Vehicle. Maybe you have just the receive box checked? Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

Maybe you have just the receive box checked? Im pretty sure I did. I think I actually checked off all shadow items just to make sure. Ill double check and post my settings when I get home. December 26, 20187 yr Author So this may have been user error - I reinstalled spotlights because that seemed to not be working properly and shadows seem to be back now also. When I checked other AC they had shadows working properly.
