Just returned to this model.   Is it possible to use an external planner and download to the SF340 FMS?  Simbrief cannot I find. Or can I just use the P3D planner?

Hi Ian,

www.simbrief.com supports the Saab 340. You may find it under "SF34" in the drop-down list of airplanes.

Correct but is not creating FP which can be imported directly to Saab FMS or I missed something?

Yes, you are right. However, that's a problem with Carenado planes in general. The FMS is very basic and does not have an option to import flight plans.
