October 19, 20214 yr Hi all, I just moved to REX Skyforce and have the same issue when looking right at the sun during dawn/dusk. What has made the FPS loss less heavy for me was turning down the shadow quality from Ultra to medium in P3Dv5. I did not touch any other textures. This made FPS managable between 40-50 whereas if i pan the camera to have the sun behind the camera I get 60-70 FPS at Flytampa EHAM with the PMDG 777. before turning down the shadow settings my FPS were like 10-20 when looking at the sun.
