January 11, 20197 yr Just getting into VR with my new Rift and wondering if I should be able to be able to see 2D pop ups (like the default GPS or ATC) inside the HMD? Did some searching and thought I saw that it should work but I’m not having any luck.. Thanks Kent i7 4790k @4.7Ghz 32Gb DDR3 1333 RTX 2070 GPU Win10 Pro
January 11, 20197 yr They work just fine. Here’s the link to the SDK so you can see how to manipulate them when you eventually get one open. http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/LearningCenter.php Joe Joe (Southern California) System: I9-9900KS @5.1Ghz/ Corsair H115i / Gigabyte A-390 Master / EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid w 11Gb / Trident 32Gb DDR4-3200 C14 / Evo 970 2Tb M.2 / Samsung 40inch TV 40ku6300 4K w/ Native 30 hz capability / Corsair AX850 PS / VKB Gunfighter Pro / Virpil MongoosT-50 Throttle / MFG Crosswind Pedals / LINDA, VoiceAttack, ChasePlane, AIG AI, MCE, FFTF, Pilot2ATC, HP Reverb G2

It is written somewhere in the official P3D help guides. Unfortunately they don't remember their positions when the plane is reloaded.
January 16, 20197 yr Author Awesome, thanks, I found the below in the P3D help Instrument Panels If an Instrument Panel is opened before entering Virtual Reality, it will be shown in the headset. An Instrument Panel can be opened by selecting the Vehicle menu item and choosing Instrument Panel. Note that not all vehicles have Instrument Panels. Controls Translate: LeftMouseDown + Shift Rotate X Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + ScrollWheel Rotate Y Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + ' Rotate Z Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + PlusKey Uniform Scale: LeftMouseDown + Shift + Ctrl Resize Panel: LeftMouseDown + Shift + Tab NOTE: The Virtual Reality cursor must be hovering over the panel to move it.
