August 12, 200619 yr dont adjust nothing but default sliders, dont customize.........dont customizethe demo is only optimised to the level what the default sliders can produce.customize only screen resolution and AA, AF settingif u have high end computer like myself, i get over 15 fps in every situation, like in major thunderstorm over terrain covered with trees, the trees and their coverage is much improved over FS9. also the water and runway lightning. yes real forests with 17-18 fps occasional drops to 13dual core and latest graphics and 2 GB of memory and you are there.TRY IT and dont customize, customize features not yet optimized
August 12, 200619 yr Author So, on another subject:I tried to take some video for a side by side comparison of a similar flight, FS9 vs. FSX.The problem is, when I'm doing the FSX part of it, my crappy system isn't man enough to display the high-res textures and capture the video at the same time. It's too bad too.So now I've got FS9 vs something that looks a lot like FS9.

It doesn't seem to be compatible.

August 12, 200619 yr That is odd then. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. What do you guys have your fraps movie settings set to? I can record fine in FS9 but in FSX all I get is intermittent distorted sound and a few random frames.
August 12, 200619 yr Author I just have the standard settings that I've always used: half resolution, (no sound for this one) fps set to match what I'm going for in game.
August 12, 200619 yr Author Go for it.In an hour or whenever this thing finishes rendering, I'll upload it.It's a side by side comparison of similar flights in FS9 and FSX.
August 12, 200619 yr I was going to do the same thing :)I also had another idea but I'm keeping that to myself ;)Unfortunately I don't have any webspace :((this thread has been thoroughly highjacked)
