Diamond DA40 with GTN 650

Hi,

I'm trying to train on the G1000, however, and I may be wrong, but the DA40 that I'm using doesn't seem to have the full functionality of the G1000.  I thought that I might able to use the RXP GTN 650 to couple to the G1000 but that doesn't seem to work either (like it does in other aircraft like the analogue C172.

Is what I'm trying to achieve possible?

Hi,

I'd guess the G1000 being a GPS as well, this may not be a valid combination after all?
