Tomatoshade and Envext/Shade

Featured Replies

Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to use Envtex/shade with Tomatoshade. If so, would anyone have a workflow on how to do this? Any help appreciated.

No, I don't think that it's possible, at least not without conflicts. You have to go with one or another.

😕 I just like the reflections. Thanks for your input.

You should be ok with Envtex if you uncheck Envshade. Envtex by itself doesn't do anything to the shaders.

I think I recall reading before that you could use envshade and envtex with tomato shade since its just reflections. Not sure what to do or enable to do this.

I don't use tomato myself, so I can't be certain, but I've always thought tomato incorporated the reflections into the shader replacements. If you can separate them and not use the tomato shaders, I suppose you could use Envshade shaders together with tomato reflections.
