"Light Ray" Sunrise/Sunset

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Running 11.31r1 and noticed that I have a ray emitted from sunset and sunrises. It seems to follow my camera around where I look. It also seems to go throw the ground for some weird reason. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or if this is a bug? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Yes, it's a bug (or rather an ugly side-effect due to how light is calculated during dusk hours). You can report it to Laminar as a bug if you want, although I don't expect it to be given high priority.

Its actually been there a while and I don't know what causes it.  I only know its not the sun glow files or sky texture files (or doesn't appear to be).  if its a texture or something, id love to know about it. Some 'lights' appear to be hard coded (shaders?).

I didn't file a bug on this one so it'd be great if you did.  Ive already got a bug Im trying to push them to fix. (with no luck yet)

There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
