Possible to crop camera view?

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Have a quick question...

I want to use a 65" tv for a monitor of an A320 desktop setup.  The problem is that i want to display on it only a cropped view....

The picture below shows a setup with 3 monitors. I want to simulate the same FOV but only display what should be visible in front of me (on one screen)... technically displaying only the part in the red rectangle ond one big tv...

How can i achieve that?

Thanks

Here is the example  picture...

I don't know what yo umean by 'same field of view'. f you want to display this filling a TV screen you need to move the eyepoint to be centred on the area in question and then zoom in. You could probably do it most conveniently using a viewgroup.

You could create another (or use the existing) VR Cockpit view using the SDK.  http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv2/LearningCenter/utilities/camera_configuration/camera_configuration.html
All of your adjustments can be made: Zoom-In, Zoom-Out, XYZ, Pan Speed etcetera.

Cheers
