February 16, 20197 yr Hi, I've noticed that I'm getting slightly higher frame rates when using P3Dv4.4 in windowed mode as opposed to "full-screen" mode. Can anyone explain the technicalities of this to me please? I have understood from various postings in this forum that in P3Dv4 the "full-screen" mode is not a real full-screen mode as in other shooter games, but is basically a windowed mode with only the title bars removed from the windows. If this is the case, how is it that I'm seeing lower frame rates when using the "full-screen" mode? Surely both modes should yield the same frame rates, or am I missing something? Thanks!
