February 25, 20197 yr Hello all, Win 10 Pro - P3Dv4 - GPUs x2 = 2080ti & 980ti. I have 2 monitors, main is set to 30hz running off the 2080ti GPU and the secondary is running at 60hz running off the 980ti GPU. I can set the 2080ti to deliver 30hz or 60hz but the monitor on the 980ti will only deliver 60hz, which appears to cause flickering on a window when I pull, say an undocked GPS window across from the 30hz monitor to the 60hz monitor. Is there any way of stopping the flickering and have the main monitor at 30hz and the second monitor at 60hz? Well this is a big assumption on my part, but if both monitors are set at 60hz, there is no flickering and the GPS is 100% useable.. If this cannot be solved, looks like a new monitor with a 30hz refresh rate, so hopefully somebody can help solve this for me if only with a definitive, it cant be done. Many thanks, tally ho... February 25, 20197 yr Hi, It's a good question. I had that issue as well, but not for some time now and cannot recall what I did. Currently I'm running my main screen at 30Hz, VSNYCH ON, and triple buffering checked in P3D4.4, with several other screens at 60Hz. No flickering when undocking and moving the windows to the secondary screens, regardless of the card the screen is connected to. I am responding to simply say, yes you can get rid of the flickering...I just can't make any suggestions as to how! i7-9700K, MSI Z370, PNY 4070 Super, GTX 750Ti, 32GB GSkill, 43" curved Samsung, 32" BenQ, 11" LED, RealSImGear GTN750, Win10, P3DV5.4/P3DV6 and MSFS, several GoFlight modules, Saitek radio, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Virtual Fly TQ6.
February 25, 20197 yr Author Many thanks for the reply, this is encouraging. I have VSYNC is on, but not triple buffering, I will test that out and continue to try to overcome the flickering problem.. All The Best Roger
