Recommended Posts

Is there a way to remove dynamic landing/taxi lights from FLAI to improve performance?  Thanks.

No really, you can remove DL entirely inside P3D settings.

I always leave DL enabled, it is my personal appreciation landing and Taxi lights on AI don't cause too much performance issues.

What causes performance issues is the amount of active traffic you might have at any given time.

Ok, thanks.  On my system, after running tests at several large airports, I’ve noticed DL on AI traffic models seems to have more of an impact than the AI models themselves.  I don’t use AI offline, only AI models generated from flying online.

It could be due to your current P3D settings, do you use SSAA by any chance?

No, MSAA.

I see,

Well I don't wan't to make any promises on this subject as I am still working on this, but it might be posible for AI Lights Professional edition to disable the dynamic lighting for Landing Lights and Taxi Lights only for AI Models, the current beta version is already doing this for navigation, beacons and strobes if it is something the end user wish to do.

Regards,
R.

Great, thank you.  Looking forward to non-DL strobes and nav lights as well.
