XP11 double installation

Featured Replies

Hi

I bought GTN750 for XP11 2 months ago and am very impressed with it. I run 2 copies of XP11 on the same computer, though on different drives. One copy is a stable version and the other for the latest beta to test it out. I obviously installed the GTN750 in the stable version. My question, is it possible to also run the GTN750 in the second installation of XP11 without being in breach of the EULA and if so how would I install it?

thanks

Yorkshire

Hi,

yes you can. Our EULA permits you installing on 2 computers provided you don't run both at the same time (typical scenario laptop + desktop).

In this case, since it is the same machine, just the simulator installation folder which changes, it is simpler: just copy the rxpGTN plugin folder to the other XP11 installation/drive. There are other 'dependent' files which are installed on the computer and will work regardless in this case, because you are still running any of these XP11 from the same computer.

excuse me I don't know if it is the right place for my question. It's kind of double installation, because I upgraded W10 family to W10 Pro, so I reinstalled Xplane 11 (same computer), so I still have GTN750 as a plugin, but it seems not updated, or some data missing. Do I have to re-install gtn750, and  how ? Will I need a serial number ?
