9900K, how does it perform in P3dv4 ?

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting one of these chips, but after more info please. Does P3D take advantage of all the cores ? , has anyone tried it without O.C and letting it turbo up to 5.0.ghz, but I believe it only uses 2 cores in turbo mode, or is it better performance overclocking all cores to say 5.0.ghz. Also is it worth using H.T. in P3D with this chip. One last thing, can anyone point me to a video, reviewing or demo of P3D using this chip, as nearly all the demos on YT are for mainly games.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the links to the demos, but "MrYorkiesWorld" is only using the stock clock (3.6ghz & 5.0ghz Turbo), but is there any advantage in P3D, in overclocking all 8 cores to 5.0ghz. Thanks.

P3D use all 8 cores and the turbo table looks like this 8cores 4.7ghz 4cores 4.8ghz and 2cores 5.0ghz if you use P3D you have 4.7ghz thats how it works , you have 300mhz extra if you OC all cores to 5ghz
