METAR not decoded?

Featured Replies

Hi,
I'm  a new Pilot2ATC User.

Yesterday I did a flight from EKVG to ENBR and I noticed that Pilot2ATC wasn't giving me the correct weather info for EKVG.

I'm using ActiveSkyXP.

Today, collecting the relevant logs I saw this log:

Error in XPWeather DecodMETARString 03/29/2019 23:47:11
System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "-" to type 'Double' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException: Formato della stringa di input non corretto.
   in Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ParseDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat)
   in Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat)
--- Fine della traccia dello stack dell'eccezione interna ---
   in Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat)
   in P2A_2018.XPWeather.DecodeMETARString(String METARTimeStr, String METARStr)

Here you can download a zip containing:

  • P2A_2018_Trace_File4.log
  • P2A Flightplanr
  • The 2 historical metars I was able to collect post flight
  • A screenshot demonstrating the difference between ASXP and P2ATC (You can also see the ASXP METAR)

Thank you.
