Fuel Cutoff Levers jammed

I have installed the aircraft twice now but cannot get the engine running due to the fuel cutoff levers stuck in the cutoff position, and if I select start with engines running only the left engine is running and I have engine oil pressure warnings the right engine will not run and the left engine is throwing out smoke.

An old thread but were you ever able to resolve this?  Just installed the 350i myself and am running into the same thing.
