Panel Lighting

Featured Replies

Haven't flown the B 58 in a while. Loaded it up today and there are no panel lights.  All gauges and GPS are dark. Switch indicates ON but no joy.  No dome light either.  I have two GT 650's that are lighted out of the panel (shift 2) but nothing else.  All gauges function fine.

Would appreciate some help in getting this resolved.  Running

P3D V4.4  Thanks,

Dennis

The panel lights do come on in total darkness but not a dusk or low light conditions.  Is this normal?

I think it may depend upon the aircraft used, or how it was modelled.

I had a similar issue with my Sky Simulations MD-11 - the cockpit (instrument panels and backlights) would only come on when the sim decided it was dark. (FSX:SE user here). I solved it by "fitting" a dome light - no working button, but activated by the SHIFT-L key combo. Here's a link to my post .
