May 6, 20197 yr Hi Alex I believe that a popular EFB has the function to create a runway extension for arrivals and/or departures of either 3, 5 or 8 miles from the end of the runway. You can then import this into the flight plan. I know that with LNM you can just drag your flight plan line to create a waypoint but I was wondering if it is feasible to automate it like in the EFB (with maybe an option to create your own set distance). That way you get a set distance every time, maybe helpful in calculating your decent. Just a suggestion. If it's too hard, please ignore. BTY, it also gives you a profile view with your glide path showing your aircraft position relative to the guide path. very neat. Thanks John Edited May 6, 20197 yr by johnbla
May 6, 20197 yr Hi John, already on the list for 2.4: https://github.com/albar965/littlenavmap/issues/307 The idea is to view the profile, ILS GS and PAPI slope without a procedure. Maybe I just allow the user to select the approach RW to show VASI and ILS and let him add the waypoints manually. Have to see. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
May 7, 20197 yr Author Alex, I forgot to mention that I am one of your beta testers. Let me know when 2.4 is ready for testing and I will give this new feature a good try out and report back to you. Regards John
May 7, 20197 yr Hi John, will let you know for sure. Either through the usual mail or here in the forum. But it will take some time. Still a lot to do. Best, Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
