Hi,
I Purchased the GTN750 for Xplane on 11.30 and I have installed the trainer though inside any A/C the GTN750 just presents me with this http://prntscr.com/noqbb0

I've adjusted the Security permissions for the Garmin Trainer Folders etc even after starting the Trainer from Garmin and the GTN750 appears to work just fine in the trainer though not in the sim.

In the User guide I show De-Bug Files etc should be in documents RXP folder though I have no Files In there with logs

Help is Appreciated

Hi,

I'm glad you've sorted this one out and we're still looking why some of you require running 'as-admin'.

Can you please let me know whether you're seeing the GTN Simulator.exe process in Process Explorer when running as a normal user?

Also can you please try this with our latest GTN v2.5.17:

  1. Open the RealityXP.GTN.ini file from your aircraft folder with a text editor
  2. Right under the [GTN_750_1] section line, add the following:

    [GTN_750_1]
    DebugValue = 1
    LogTrainer = 7

  3. Save the modifications
  4. Run X-Plane normally, select the aircraft with the GTN, exit X-Plane and backup the rxpGTN.xpl.log file.
  5. Run X-Plane as-admin, select the aircraft with the GTN, exit X-Plane and backup the rxpGTN.xpl.log file.
  6. Post the content of the two log files for comparison.
