April 18, 200620 yr Wow! So i guess it would be nice to buy a surround sound kit...maybe the Audigy X-Fi or something in between those lines..:)I noticed in some pictures, some birds..dunno if they too will have squeaks?? Anyway, that would just be a bonus....
April 18, 200620 yr I wonder if the sounds of the engines are depending on the POV like when you hear engines from the front side you will really hear the sound of the engines and when viewed from the backside you'll hear the engines combined with the exhaust airflow. :-) Not really that important but would just be a nice touch :D :-waveshocky :-hah http://img7.exs.cx/img7/5379/Banner21.jpg

That'd be cool. A shame I got rid of my 4.1 setup to get a 2.1 again... Oh well, but it still sounds so much better than before... I'll go for good quality rather than 3D sound this time! :-hah

April 19, 200620 yr I'm kind of wondering if we'll now be able to hear sonic booms as the aircraft breaches the sound envelope and whether you won't be able to hear the aircraft at all if you're viewing your aircraft from the front when you're travelling faster than mach 1. (Put another way, it's the dopler effect to the extreme where if you're in front of the aircraft, you don't hear anything... but if you're inside the sound envelope created by the aircraft, you hear a screaming high-pitch whirl)
April 22, 200620 yr Rest assured all the default aircraft will exhibit realistic sound signatures according to their supersonic capabilities. ;)
