May 20, 20197 yr Hi, using latest GTN 750 in P3D v4.4 I have the GTN configured to use „simulator“ as clock source. That works fine as to the fact that the GTN will start up with the time set in P3D. However, when using time acceleration, this will have no effect on the elapsed time when using the flight timers within the GTN. The clock speed of the GTN will stay at 1x, which of course gives totally wrong results for time accelerated flights. Should the GTN clock speed not adapt to simulator speed when clock source is set to „simulator“ ? Edited May 20, 20197 yr by bpcw001 Dave P. Woycek
May 20, 20197 yr Hi, I believe you are right: the timers are not 'accelerated' and this is a good idea. We'll have to see how/if feasible in a future update.

June 1, 20197 yr Hi, further on this topic: As a matter of fact, the actual timers in the Garmin trainer are not accurate at all. Our next update will not only support time acceleration for the timers, both in the GTN and the GNS V2, but these will now be accurate as well! Thank you for the suggestion. June 7, 20196 yr Just to let everybody know not only GTN v2.5.18 but also GNS v2.4.13 updates now support not only timer acceleration for the timers (Utilities / AUX pages respectively), but as importantly, these timers are now accurate (the trainer own timers are not counting the time properly).
