rxp gtn 750 ver 2.5.18 frequent short audio alarms

Recommended Posts

Just installed new version (2.5.18.0) of reality xp gtn 750 and I get short audio alarms without any panel warning indications. Sound is similar to the 1000 ft before ordered altitude alert, but much shorter duration. Flying x plane ver 11.34r1 with a Carenado AC 690B. Anyone experience this? Any thoughts?

Hi,

Couldn't this just be a Carenado sound issue instead?

Do you experience this with other aircraft?

Can you locate this sound file in the Carenado, rename the file to prevent it playing, and compare?

Otherwise can you cross check with PlaneMaker whether it is configured with an ALT alerter in which case this could conflict with the one Carenado is simulating on their own (if any)?
