First of all I like your products so much. I'm new here at this forum and I'm Dutch. I would like to tell you something. There's a shop called ''Dynabyte'' in my city. I asked when FSX will be released. They looked in there computer and they said on the 1th of December. The price is 80 Euros. Can someone from the FSX team tell me if this is true? Thanks,DavePS: Sorry for my English, I'm Dutch.

Hi,What has been stated so far is "holiday season, 2006". December 1st fits right into this statement (one MS blogger hinted at a US release around November).Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

possible. But this chain specialises in selling games and related hardware and has for something like 15 years or longer. They'll be following the market including upcoming titles closely (even if individual employees may not) and quite probably will have lists with confirmed and expected release dates.

Hi,http://blogs.technet.com/pixelpoke/archive.../06/417087.aspxAnd he actually hinted at the September/October time frame, but I was giving them an extra month to be kind... :)Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

As with all things, take this with a grain of salt. You never know what will happen in a development cycle. I would imagine this is a good date, but don't forget that gaming magazine that had "hot information" that the software would be released in February of this year. Who knows their source? But then again, perhaps MS is now committing to something to the suppliers. It's already March and 12/1 is only a few months away now, and it does take quite a while to get all the pieces in place for a launch. Especially one as important as this one :)Not that I'm building myself up waiting for this one or anything. Not that I'm drooling at the mouth, sitting at the computer constantly looking everywhere for every little tidbit I can find. Not that...Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)

If that is true and they do have the release date, then the chain has broken their Non-diclosure-confidentiality agreement! I doubt it!

most likely they have people sniffing around at sites and tradeshows who came up with that as a likely date rather than having been given confidential data by Microsoft.
