How insert route in the FMS of PMDG747 QOTS II

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I generate routes with Simbrief or Navigraph Charts folowing the *.rte format, BUT when i load it into the 747QOTS FMS, there is only Departure and arrival, the distance is true, but no legs !

With 737 NG, it works good.

Is it a bug, or is it impossible with QOTS II ?

Thank's, and sorry for my poor english ;)

Looks like the route has no "core" and is just SID and STAR. The 744 and 777 will ignore all SID/STAR data. It only pulls core route fixes.

I do not think so, because I tried with a much longer road, and I have the same result.

No SID / STAR, normal according to you, but no road either.

On the other hand, the road loads very well on 737-800 / 900 NGX.

Do you think it's a limitation of the 747-400 v3?

Does installing 747-8 v3 expansion solve the problem?

I know that it is not. I just loaded one last night.

No, because we would never require an expansion to fix a bug.

Hi Jean-Marie,

It looks like you have not logged into ACARS.  This is required in the QOT but not the NGX or 777.

Please read REQUEST SEND / RTE SELECT, Introduction document, page 165.
