530 Checklist (resolved)

Featured Replies

I can't seem to call up the "Checklist"  in FSX. I've extracted the checklist.zip file and placed it in the 172 aircraft file as a .txt file. I also copied it and renamed it to "checklist.gns". When I start the 530 and select the "Go to Checklists" on the "Instrument Panel Self Test" page, it goes to "Import Flight Plan". I push "CLR" and it goes to "Checklist" page but it shows "Used 0  Empty 9".  I've tried on multiple aircraft with the same results. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

is this working when going to the checklist pager via the AUX pages?

So I go to the AUX category, page 2- UTILITY, 1st item - CHECKLIST, select it and it goes to  "Checklist" page but it shows "Used 0  Empty 9"... so I guess you could say it doesn't work there either.

Thanks for helping with this.

Steve

Hi,

thank you for the reminder.

When preparing our latest update released a few days ago we've cross checked everything is working as expected with the checklists.

You might have place the file in the wrong folder, or, the file might have been corrupted in the process somehow.

Nevertheless, I'd suggest you try with a simple aircraft first, like the default B58 or Cessna. Just copy one of the checklist file included in the sample pack, into the aircraft folder, like this: "...FSX\SimObjects\Airplane\beech_baron_58\checklist.gns"

Then add a GNS to the B58 and see how it works.

I unzipped the checklist file again and it now works.

Thanks for the help,

Steve
