What are they?

Another Active Sky feature :) Basically you can click on the ground to set the observer position when comming in to land. Then at X feet (configured in the settings) fly by view turns into approach view. You are then watching the plane from the observer position on the ground.

Yea I meant to say "Active Camera". The other useful feature is walking around in VC mode and then pressing CTRL-ALT-(number) to save a view. Returning to the view later you simply press CTRL-(number).
