July 26, 20196 yr Hi All, apologies if this has been asked a million times but couldn't find much on this topic. I'm about to upgrade my PC. New Motherboard, RAM, CPU and remembered that I had read some time ago that there was some software protection linked to the hardware ID of the machine Pilot2ATC was first installed on. A change in this ID will result in an invalid license, Is there a way around this that is if indeed this protection is in place, not too sure. I haven't changed anything just yet so just preempting an issue when I do. Must add I have a valid license, paid for, so not looking for anything other than if I can't do anything myself to avoid the issue what do I need to do. Thanks for any help. July 26, 20196 yr A simple ram change will affect your license. No way around it. Make your hardware changes and when you are done contact P2A and request your license to be reset. I think I’ve had to do this 3 times already and will have to do it maybe 3 more times before the year is out with upgrades I have planned. Cheers David. howevr

Thanks for replying David, I manged to get in touch with Developer Dave and he confirmed what you have said, email current license number for a reset. Getting all my planned upgrades out of the way in 1 hit so hopefully this will be the only time to reset for a while. Cheers. Edited July 27, 20196 yr by jredmond70
