Cant install GSX to P3D v4 after fresh Windows re-install

Recommended Posts

Hello, 2 days ago I did fresh reinstall of Windows because of my new MB and SSD. I started installing p3d and addons like pmdg 737,777, ezdok, orbx, rex 5, fslabs a320 etc.. Everything works fine but when it comes to gsx there is one big problem which Im trying to solve for about a day. When i try install GSX I dont have an option to install it to P3D v4 (like P3D is not installed). I tried to follow the instructions described in some topics like this: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=15738.0 My registry is OK, Avast completely off and I've tried fix registry too. I don't know what I can do anymore...

You might try running P3Dv4 at least once as admin...could be that running it without elevation isn't allowing it to write the needed registry settings.  But it does sound like your registry is *not* OK if the installer doesn't see it.

Right-click Prepar3D.exe (or the shortcut), select Properties/Compatibility and put a check in the Disable full-screen optimizations box.
