UK2000 airports and P3Dv4.5

Recommended Posts

I have posted this issue at the UK2000 forum but decided to put it here also, as there are many Avsim people who seem to have experience in this area.

These issues may have been discussed before, but in searching nothing seems to be quite my problem. Have recently updated to P3D v4.5, after being on v4.4 for quite awhile. (Flying in Orbx FTX England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and NI.). It seems that all of my UK2000 vfr airfields were working okay in v4.4. I also had issues with some Xtreme airports - Manchester and Birmingham, but just flew elsewhere. Now in v4.5, it seems that the VFR Airfields Vol 1 work great, but VFR airfields 2 and 3 cause the sim to crash if I fly near to one of the airports or initiate a flight at one of them. Of the Xtreme airports that I own, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow work great, but Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham don't work: they crash the system if I try to land at one of them or initiate a flight there. I guess the biggest loss for me personally, are the VFR airfields V2 not working, since I had been taking real world flying lessons at Cambridge airport and also flew frequently to Duxford, and the UK2000 VFR airfields for these two are excellent, and very close to the real thing.

For comparison, I have a number of payware airports from Orbx in the UK and elsewhere and a few others e.g., 29 Palms and LMT Simulations, but these are elsewhere in Europe, and these are all working fine.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Have you tried reinstalling VFR Airfields Volume 2 and 3? A long shot, but you never know...

Hello

Have you made sure that you installed the airports 'through' the separate installer that Gary has produced?

It is imperative that you do this
