Settings window is opening behind the simulator window (resolved)

Another issue I am having is that the settings window is opening behind the X-plane screen for both the GTN and the GNS. I hoped that deleting the GTN plugin might have solved this but alas no.

Thanks Jean-Luc.

I'll see what I can find. The settings window behind the main window was a windows problem and is an easy regedit fix if any one else has the problem.

Can you please detail what this is?

This is from Microsoft community.

1. Choose Start and then click Run, and type regedit in the Open text box then click OK.
2. Open the key -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
3. Now in the registry editor window in the right pane you will find the keys Foreground Flash Count and Foreground Lock timeout.

Refer to the below links and check for the default values on your computer. Check if you have the same values as mentioned in the below links -

If the values differ from the default values you may double click the names and change the values. Make sure you make the decimal selection and then change the values.

Thank you for the solution.

Interestingly, on our systems "ForegroundLockTimeout" is 0, whereas the default value is documented as 200000ms.
