  1. Just installed Little Navmap 2.6.0 beta and it has made MSFS 2020 really usable. For previous users it has all of the the features of previous version. I installed it pointed it to MSFS and loaded the scenery files. Started MSFS clicked connect in little navmap and that was it. All connected and running. To test it I created a flightplan and exported to MSFS and loaded it with no problems. You have a moving map and access to details for airports and navaids with the click of a mouse button. This is definitely a must have.
  2. I fly low and slow and so far it has been great. I have no complaints.
  3. I agree. In some cases it makes it impossible to achieve what you try to do
  4. PAOR Northway. It's half there but mostly under the terrain.
  5. Hi Brahms I found the answer. go into your "your drive":\MSFS\Official\OneStore\ and delete the last file that was down loaded. For me it was "fs-base-cgl-0.1.28.fspatch" Then restart the update process. It took about 30 minutes to finish the installation. Hope this works for you
  6. I have the same problem and have tried everything I can think of to no avail.
  7. Thanks Matt, I deleted the Xbox stuff as well as I never thought I would use it.
  8. One thing I notice in your file is that:- [GTN_750_1.WINDOW] ; display window if true. visible = true Should read [GTN_750_1.WINDOW] ; display window if true. visible = false
  9. After many issues with anti virus programs and the GTN installation I did an anti virus program clean up. Deleted Bitdefender and now use Widows Defender and the Windows 10 included anti virus. I also use malwarebytes. I have had no problems since then and the whole anti virus issue is now much more user friendly. If there is an issue a window pops up, tells you the problem and how to solve it. The Windows 10 anti virus programs are as good as, and in lots of cases better, than 3rd party addons.
  10. Hi Jean-Luc, Problem solved. I had turned off all of my anti-virus and malware programs. Windows 10 1903 has a few of its own little surprise. I checked the the latest Windows 10 features on the Microsoft site and It now has is own anti-virus program and when you turn of third party programs it activates. You also have to go into windows security and deactivate it as well as windows defender. After talking to windows gurus it appears that windows 10's own security software is as good as any third party program on the market and cause less problems. I was wrong and the latest rxpGtnSim32.dll file was not to blame and I have to eat humble pie again. Not the first time and it undoubtedly won't be the last. Thanks for your patience. Ian
  11. I spoke to soon. There is an issue with the latest rxpGtnSim32.dll file. The December 2018 version loads OK. The latest version puts me back to the original problem. I'm sorry but the answer to both your questions both of your questions was yes. I don't really understand what you mean by a 32bit anti virus but the fact that it doesn't block the file from an earlier version would indicate that this is not the case and that there is a problem with your file.
  12. Hi Jean-Luc, I found a a GTN folder from last year and ran the download and install from that. Surprise, Surprise. It downloaded and installed the GTN perfectly. Seems that there is some issue with the rxpGtnSim32.dll file in the latest installation. Looking back through the forum I see that this file has caused issues in the past. Regards Ian
  13. This is from Microsoft community. 1. Choose Start and then click Run, and type regedit in the Open text box then click OK. 2. Open the key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. 3. Now in the registry editor window in the right pane you will find the keys Foreground Flash Count and Foreground Lock timeout. Refer to the below links and check for the default values on your computer. Check if you have the same values as mentioned in the below links - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc957205.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc957208.aspx If the values differ from the default values you may double click the names and change the values. Make sure you make the decimal selection and then change the values.
  14. Thanks Jean-Luc. I'll see what I can find. The settings window behind the main window was a windows problem and is an easy regedit fix if any one else has the problem.
  15. Hi Jean-Luc, Had no luck with the above as the file rxpGtnSim32.dll is nowhere on the computer. I have search all of the drives. Windows is not prompting for credentials. The installer is being allowed through my antivirus and malware software. I have spent hours on settings and ownership of the installer and I am listed as the owner/administrator. I am totally stumped. I think the only solution would be if you could send me a copy of the rxpGtnSim32.dll file. Regards
